A Treasure Trove of Twisties with a Tail End Treat ! - Saturday 10th May, 2025


Now I know what you're thinking - our runs are normally on a Sunday and that's true. However,
Sunday 11th May is Mother's Day and I suspect most of us would either want to be with our
Mother (if that's possible) or alternatively you are a mother in which case your family may be
planning a (surprise?) visit, hence the change of plan to Saturday the 10th.

The run kick's off from Zarraffas Coffee at Cornubia which means coffee and snacks are readily
available as are toilets, so you could arrive early and have breakfast and a chat with other club
members!

From Cornubia, we're making our way to Canungra for our morning tea stop, at the DJ Smith
Memorial Park and we'll be parking across the road on Appel Street which has plenty of parking
spots. Morning tea is BYO however there are plenty of snack and coffee outlets very close by, as
are toilets.

From here we're making our way to Beechmont Road and we will travel it's full length, which
means over 34km of perfect MX-5 roads with an abundance of twists and turns and some
truly spectacular views.

Our final destination is Stanley's Barn Restaurant & Bar adjacent to the Gold Coast
Motor Museum at Upper Coomera. There is heaps of room for our cars and the option of going through 
the museum after lunch (Julie and I definitely will!).
