NOT Bribie Island or Bust ! Saturday 8^th November 2025.

IMPORTANT NOTE : Sharp eyed Club Members Erika and Steve discovered that Bribie Island Road may become a carpark on Sat 8th, due to a major concert at the Sandstone Point Hotel. My sincere thanks to you both for spotting this !
So, I have changed the last part of our route which actually works to our advantage - more twisties and virtually the same travel time.
Our final destination will now be The Albany Creek Tavern.

Zarraffa’s Coffee at Dakabin (Shopping Village) will be our assembly point as we prepare for our tour which offers stunning views of Lakes Kurwongbah and Samsonvale, followed by the peaks of Mt Samson, Mt Pleasant and Mt Mee.

Our Morning Tea stop will be The Arthur Duncan Carpark, opposite the Mount Mee Public Hall (possibly the highest point on the road up) from which you can enjoy a stunning outlook on a clear day, which the long-range forecast suggests will be the case !

We’ll then head South-East on roads less travelled (a.k.a. excellent MX-5 roads) as we home in on our lunch stop - The Albany Creek Tavern.
