With the arrival of Autumn, what better time for a great spirited drive on exceptional roads. Well 'Autumn Spirited Drive' was a dull title, but some quick translating thanks to Google and the German language, produced a wonderful title for our March Run, 'Herbstliche Temperamentvolle Fahrt'.
We will meet at the James Drysdale Recreation Reserve, off the Jinker Track, in the car park off Pine Hills Drive, just past Sports Lane on the right. There is a public toilet.
This meeting point puts us immediately onto the wonderfully winding and spirited (Temperamentvolle) roads Bunya Road, Eatons Crossing Road, Clear Mountain Road and Winns Road, before we head through Kobble Creek and Lees Crossing, through Dayboro, and over Mt Mee to our Morning Tea spot, Woodford Memorial Park, with a bakery across the road.
What a beginning to our Fahrt!
After morning tea, we will hit the beautiful roads in the Maleny back country winding our way circuitously to our spectacular lunch destination Patrick's Irish Pub & Restaurant at Tranquil Park, Maleny, looking out through their floor to ceiling glass walls on the Glass House Mountains.
Welcome to Autumn (Herbstliche)!
